Tamar Valley Wine Route

A fantastic start to the day with a tasting (of 14 wines) at Delamere vineyard. Located on the North East of the Tamar in Tasmania’s world renown sparkling region. Delamere is primarily an estate vineyard and is 100% Tasmanian own and run, they also produce wine for numerous other vineyards in the area.
A couple of Delamere’s resident Guineafowl stalking the winery keeping the grubs at bay
A quick selfie in the Delamere grounds, just outside the cellar door, before we hit the road for our lunch stop
Lunch stop and more tastings to be had at Pipers Brook cellar door. Pipers brook has several tasting options available such as Ninth Island, Pipers Brook and Kreglinger
Nadine’s Café at Pipers Brook never lets our customers down with their amazing platters, our guests certainly never go hungry dining on beautiful fresh Tasmanian produce.
Swinging gate on the western side of the Tamar Valley wine route is always a favourite, with Doug the winemaker on hand and Nellie the vineyards rescue dog our guests always have a memorable time here, especially getting to sample some of their range of PET NAT varities
The Modern Monk, Swinging Gate vineyards PET NAT range, this style of sparkling wine pre dates Champagne
Our final stop for the day at Beautiful Isle, they have a simply beautiful range of wines here and they are a must visit while in the Tamar Valley wine tour region. Amazing retro old school labelling and delicious wines to boot
